System critical:
Our quality assurance
Overview of our testing and inspection procedures.
Your bike really doesn't always have an easy time of it.
Shaking over cobblestones, sliding over snow and road salt slush, exhaust gases, gravel, full sun, constant rain: your bike really doesn't always have an easy time of it. We know that. That's why our luggage racks, bags, baskets and all accessories are designed from the outset for tough everyday use. No matter what you have in mind, racktime products can handle it all. And they still look good. Because they are robust, durable and easy to care for. In order to be able to guarantee this without restrictions, we are extremely critical: In our own test center, we first test the material and then the finished product.
Our testing and inspection procedures
Our testing technicians shake and shake every racktime product according to ISO 11243:2023 until it is ready for the market. And beyond that: ready for gravel roads and cobblestones.
We don't just content ourselves with meeting all DIN and ISO standards, we go much further and simulate the actual stresses of a long bicycle life - fully loaded, of course.
Just like in real life: it goes back and forth. Anyone who caves in is not a racktime carrier.

Vertical test
How heavy can I load my racktime carrier without having to worry about the slightest unevenness in the floor? We'll find out for you here.
Static load with 3 times the nominal load
VERTICAL LOAD TEST
Our carriers must be able to withstand a lot of tension without compromising driving stability.
Side static load (force of nominal load)
SIDE PULL
Travel safely. Even when accelerating or braking hard, nothing will cause our carriers to lose their track.
Static load to the rear with twice the nominal load
Lateral test
As beautiful as it is, sunshine often ages and fades materials. However, our surfaces have no problem with this. So summer can come!
Material stability and color fastness
UV test
Aggressive salts and chemicals attack surfaces - especially when gritting in winter - as we know from cars. We therefore attach great importance to high durability.
